This workshop, explored movement techniques created and developed by Guy Nader and Maria Campos.
This week long workshop focuses on developing movement vocabulary, new techniques, and partnering styles. All of which are central to the work created by GN | MC.
Participants explored a unique approach to movement, investigating the mechanics of how the body moves.
The workshop covered techniques such as carrying a partner (portés), sharing weight, balancing, counterbalancing, finding a shared centre of gravity, and moving together in sync; using one another for support.
The goal of these workshops is to build trust, encourage risk-taking, and deepen the connection between partners, while exploring innovative ways of moving together.
