Cake Dance
Seán Corcoran Series
Dancers, chancers and everything in between, joined Luail’s Dance Deputy Edwina Guckian for this very special Drogheda cake dance.
Names were drawn from a hat as each dancer steps up to perform for the crowd. When the last dancer performs, the audience votes for their two favourite dancers. The votes are then counted, and winners are announced; they are awarded the cake and the honour of sharing it with all.
This event is funded by the Heritage Council through the Irish Walled Towns Network and supported by Luail – Ireland’s National Dance Company.
