Maiden Voyage Dance
In May 2025, Luail’s foundational partner Maiden Voyage Dance commenced its pilot participatory artist training programme with five early career dance artists.
The chosen artists, Róisín Harten (Cavan/Belfast), Sarah Flavelle (Belfast), Martha Tribe (Dublin), Katie Dempsey Jenkins (Belfast), and Maíre Morrison (Derry)
were supported over a six-month period to develop additional skills that could then aid them in delivering participatory arts activities both safely and professionally.
The artists worked over a 6 month period towards an Introduction to Dance Teaching in Community Contexts Level 4 Diploma accreditation from People Dancing UK with intensives, online training, practical delivery, mentoring and support from lead facilitator Dylan Quinn and Maiden Voyage Dance.
